Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ are a patent-pending nappy system designed by a mother of three children to be comfortable and leak-free while keeping babies skin dry.
The white outer layer is a water-proof poly-urethane laminated (PUL) fabric that is soft and flexible, yet durable enough to be autoclaved for use in hospitals and nursing homes. This means that it can be washed in hot water and tumble dried repeatedly, unlike most other waterproof fabrics such as nylon PUL.
The inner layer is soft anti-pilling polar (range of colours) or white micro-fleece with a unique internal sleeve into which absorbent padding is inserted. The fleece quickly and effectively draws moisture away from your baby's skin into the absorbent material, which is more comfortable for baby, as well as helping to cure and prevent nappy rash.
The sleeve width is generous enough to hold a considerable amount of absorbent padding such as a rectangular folded towelling or flannelette flat nappy, Cuddly-Bub hemp fleece inserts, American prefold diapers, nappy booster pads, hand towels or micro-fibre cloths. The internal sleeve also ensures that the inserts stay in the wet zone where they need to be and do not slip around like inserts in other pocket style nappies. (Inserts sold seperately unless otherwise stated).
Customise the absorbancy to your babies individual requirements - add less for light wetters (or if you change very frequently) and add more for heavy wetters and night time. No need to purchase 'day-time' and 'night-time' strength nappies and no more wet bed sheets!.
Unlike other waterproof nappies that have the absorbent padding sandwiched inside the nappy - you can rest assured that your Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ will get thoroughly and hygienically washed without allowing any nasty bacterial or fungal growth inside. The added bonus is that Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ and seperate inserts dry very quickly, saving you time, money and energy use.
Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ are available with side closing velcro tabs or durable plastic snaps. Side snap nappies have six snap settings at each side to allow independant adjustment to fit different hip and thigh sizes. Velcro closures are generously sized to allow plenty of adjustability as your baby grows. Gentle elastic is used in the legs and back and front waist to ensure a snug fit to contain messes! The side closure system makes Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ easy to put on wriggly babies - and makes it harder for babies to undo the nappy themselves!
Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ come in three sizes - small, medium and large. Most babies will not require the large size which is designed for larger toddlers and young children. (My two and a half year old son is 17kg and still wears the medium size).
Cuddly-Bub Kisses™ can also be used as a waterproof cover over fitted cloth nappies or a rectangular folded flat nappy.
