Cuddly-Bubs uses only the finest Organic fibre Hemp Blended with 45% organic cotton to produce a beautifully soft, yet highly absorbent, breathable fabric. Hemp being the longest fibre in the world means it is much more absorbent than cotton and about three times as strong. Organic Hemp and cotton are blended together to form a super strong fabric that retains it’s shape and durability when wet.
Hemp has natural anti-bacterial qualities that help to protect your babies skin and help to keep your nappies germ free. Cloth nappies don’t contain chemicals and breathability help to stop nappy rashes and heat rash in it’s tracks. This product uses hemp fleece which is extremely soft and allows moisture to be drawn away from the baby’s skin into the nappy center.
Naturally Hemp is about three times as strong as cotton and many other fibres, therefore will allow your Cuddly-Bubs for up to three children, saving you lot’s of money every year. That’s a saving of at least $1500-$2000 for every year you use your Cuddly-Bubs full-time. The one-size fits all are even more cost effective as you can use the same nappies for 2 or more different size babies at the same time.
Hemp is one of the oldest fabrics used by the ancient Egyptians , Shakespeare even wrote on Hemp paper. It has been prized for its natural beauty, durability, high production yield and versatility for hundreds of thousands of years. Environmentally speaking Hemp produces a far greater yield than other fibres and requires little or no chemicals to do so. This helps to reduce the amount of chemicals we use on the earth and our bodies. Industrial Hemp cannot get you high and the fibre contains no THC, the drug that produces this effect.
Hemp is warm in winter and cooler than cotton in Summer as it breathes better. Due to the unique structure of the fibre it draws Moisture away from the body.As a fabric it is highly resistant to chemicals, abrasion, bacteria, sunlight and repeated washing and provides a biodegradable alternative to synthetic materials. Hemp production should be supported as it is kinder to our earth and even the soil it grows in by producing almost 4 times as much yield, aerating the soil and bringing nutrients to the surface, eradicating noxious weeds as it grows.
When you first wash your Cuddly-bubs, allow about 10 gradual washes to draw the natural oils out of the fibre to maximise absorbency. Your Hemp nappies may be put in the dryer up to 40 degrees for 10-15 mins. Try to use less washing powder , chemicals and softener, in fact the less you use the more absorbent your nappies will be. Soap flakes are an excellent choice. Where possible natural sunlight is the best for drying. Dry paling or wet soaking are both effective ways to store nappies, between washes.
Cuddly-Bubs can be used in conjunction with/ without covers for light to heavy wetters, they make great night nappies too. A bio-degradable liner can also help to dispose of solids easily into the toilet.
So give your baby the best gift of all Cuddly-Bubs Hemp baby products! We know they’ll love you for it the rest of their lives.
